Sometime we often put everything in the shelf, make it look crowded and annoying. Unsightly. Because it's very easy to put things on the shelf rather than putting it in it's place. Name card, bill, books, keys, gloves, pen, you name it.
If the shelf can say something then it will said "Stop put something on me ! I'm already crowded!
So I try to arrange the shelves to make them attractive. I make space between one item to another. Don't make it overlap or coincide.
Put some attractive item over there. Like night lamp, plant, books, basket or frame. You can put a tiny thing in the basket, show your favorite book in stack, let people see your nice picture, laying plants and raise mood with dim light.
