Do you know loofah? In Indonesian we call it 'gambas' . It is actually a vegetable in the gourd family. We have been used it as a sponge. Loofahs can actually be cut into any shape and used for multitude of purpose.
We can used it in the shower.
Beneficial in eliminating dead skin cell to achieve smooth and glowing skin.
Or in the kitchen to wash dishes.
Loofah sponge are great for cleaning almost everything, anything that needs scrubbed.
Before I knew loofah I used synthetic sponge to do the dishes and take a shower.
As you know, synthetic sponge can not be decomposed thus polluting the environment.
But Loofahs are completely biogradable. You can just throw it into compost. Loofah is one of the best zero waste sponge!
